what is a pet portrait?

A painting of a loved one that we will create together. I use high quality oil paint to provide bold color and marks that will be preserved in a varnish and will allow your furry friend to stay vibrant for generations. The paintings come on gallery quality canvases that are ready to hang or can be framed.

What can I get painted?

Any kind of pet is available to be commissioned (dog, cat, lizard, rock, etc). You will need to send in clear photos of your pet (more than one photo maybe required). Paintings can be painted as standard portraits or in a scene that we can build together. Do you want your cat floating in space? Or being abducted by aliens? If so we can make that happen.

How are they priced?

I offer two different mediums Oil on Canvas, and Gouache on Paper

10”x10” - $275

11”x14” = $385

12”x16” = $425

16”x20 = $850

18”x24” = $1000

All painting prices include one pet and a plain background. If you’d like additional pets added to the painting at $50 per pet, additional fees will apply. If you would like a theme and complex background, it will be an additional $75.

A 50% non refundable deposit is required as a downpayment for a commission. Will offer digital proofs with up to 3 revisions if needed.
